Oaklands Wood Carving Club

Welcome to the Oaklands Wood Carving Club, a community of wood carvers in Southampton

We cater for carvers of all levels of experience, so whether you know exactly what you are doing and just want to carve with others, that's great.

If you have never carved but want to give it a go, we have two very experienced tutors to teach and guide you. Our members are also full of tips of their own and are keen to help each other.

We have a comprehensive set of tools you can use. We also provide you with your first project, to get you started.

We think of ourselves as a friendly group. We are insured to accept members 16yrs and over, both men and women who have, in common, a love of working with wood.

We are a not for profit club so our fees are exceptionally reasonable. There is no 'joining' fee and your first 2 weeks are free.

So pop along and see us and have a go, you might surprise yourself.
We meet Mondays 5.30-8,30. At Oasis School in Lordshill Southampton.
